To all the Mothers,
We are grateful to God and to you for being who you are. You have been an ally, educator, cook and more to us. Being the "jack of all trades," you've assured us that everything will be alright, support us through good and hard times, and bring us up and remove the dust from our knees when we fall. Most of all, you wanted the best for us even if it meant having sleepless nights and restless days. Again, we thank you for being our "ilaw ng tahanan" (light of the home), and we thank God for giving us you!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
We love you "Nanays" (mothers)!
"25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. 27 She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
For our gratitude to the Nanays!, the donators and volunteers had provided Mother's day tickets from Hannah's Pantry which came with special Sandals. Thank you to the many volunteers and donators who supplied and ran this outreach!
